Acts of Kindness: Our Annual New Years Drive 2026
Dear Supporters,
As we welcome a brand new year, Messiah Grace Mission is excited to kick things off with an event that brings our community together in the most meaningful way. Our New Year’s Drive, happening Friday, January 2, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 AM in downtown Los Angeles.
A new year offers a fresh start, a chance to reset our intentions, and an opportunity to reflect on how we can show love and care to those around us. For MGM, there’s no better way to begin than by supporting our neighbors who need a little extra warmth and hope.
Our Objective for the Day
During the drive, our volunteers and team members will come together to:
Set up our donation booths
Distribute blankets and essential items to those experiencing hardship
Offer guidance, support, and a friendly smile to all who attend
Spread encouragement and create an uplifting environment for the new year
This event isn’t just about giving away items, it’s about creating connection, offering dignity, and showing that our community stands strong when we stand together.
Why This Drive Matters
Winter months can be especially challenging for individuals and families facing unstable housing or financial strain. A blanket, a moment of care, or even a short conversation can make a world of difference.
By joining the New Year’s Drive, volunteers become part of that impact. These small acts, packing boxes, organizing items, handing someone a blanket all add up to powerful change.

Donate Items: If you have any new or gently used blankets, canned goods, and toys please email contact@messiahgracemission.com for drop off/pick up.
Spread the Word: Share our New Year's Drive with friends, family, and colleagues. The more people involved, the greater the impact we can make.
